Spot Watch · Parking enforcement officer app

Cite, void, and backstop from the field.

Spot Watch is what officers carry — live violations on the map, scan-to-cite, and evidence on every ticket. Fully automated lots still keep the handheld as a backstop when someone needs to step in.

Enforcement SKUs and camera tiers live on the Enforcement product page. Citations sync with the Admin Portal.

The parking enforcement app officers actually carry

Spot Watch is the officer app for Spot Parking. It puts live lot status, plate scanning, citations and evidence on the phone your team already has. No ticket books, no Bluetooth printers required, no radio-in plate checks. Every citation lands on the same record the parking office sees in the Admin Portal, so the office and the field never disagree about what happened.

Three ways to enforce, one app

  • Map: live lot status with violations highlighted, so officers go where the problems are instead of walking compliant rows.
  • Scan Plate: point the phone at a car. Spot Watch finds and locks the plate on the device, auto-captures one still, and returns the rule and fee. Review the lot, photos and GPS pin, then Cite or Warn. See Scan to Cite.
  • SpeedCite: on lots with cameras, Spot has already flagged the sessions that need attention. Officers swipe through the queue to cite or pass, one card at a time.

Evidence on every citation

Each citation carries photos, the time, a GPS pin, the lot and the rule that was broken. Photos upload after the citation is created, so officers keep moving. When a driver appeals, staff review the same evidence the officer saw.

Warn, cite, or void, with a record

Not every stop needs a fine. After a plate check returns the rule and the fee, the officer chooses Warn or Cite. A warning carries the same photos, time and GPS pin as a citation. If a ticket was written in error, staff can void it, and the record shows it was voided instead of the ticket disappearing. Printing is optional. Officers can print a notice with a pay-online QR code, but the citation is digital the moment it's issued, so drivers can pay or appeal from their phone either way.

From handheld to fully automated, same app

Start with phones only: no cameras and no installation, which suits events, pop-ups and lots without cameras. Add LPR cameras later and Spot Watch becomes the backstop: officers handle the cases cameras flag, and step in when someone needs a person. The citation lifecycle (issued, paid, mailed, appealed, voided) is the same at every level.

Works on any iOS or Android phone

Spot Watch runs on the iPhones and Android phones officers already carry, with no dedicated plate-reading hardware. Plate detection runs on the device, and live video never leaves the phone. Spot is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
